VIP TRANSPORT PROGRAM

Luxury Transport Services and Specialist Personnel

Contract Overview:

NLT is contracted by the Client to deliver major event transport operations throughout Australia. Within the scope of this contract is the delivery of a ground transport operation to support domestic & international VIP delegations attending major events, conferences and  meetings/engagements. Throughout the twelve years that NLT has delivered this contract in partnership with the Client, the size & complexity of this transport operation has increased 2.5x in size – delivering a complete transport system including fleet, driving, airport facilitation & supervisory staff supported by a comprehensive booking, allocation and dispatch system to support secure ground transport operations for the event. Contracted since 2013, NLT has delivered scheduled and ad-hoc services for the operation with a diverse range of delegations including:

• Invited Guests of the Host Nation

• Government Delegations

• VIP Delegations

• International & Domestic VIP Visitations & programs

Delivering a turn-key transport requires significant planning & operational expertise with our key event staff required to operate on a 24/7 basis with requests often received on short notice, given the nature of these international delegations and international Guests. NLT staff operate as embedded personnel with the Client Event Team within the Operational Control Centre, Airport Operations and Facilitation functional areas in addition to support staff, reservations personnel, a dedicated account manager to liaise across client services, security and operational representatives.

An overview of a recent program includes:

• 682 delegation movements across the 9 key event days

• 13,954km with an average trip of 20.42km per movement

• Fleet summary: 24 car-and-driver (sedan, people mover), 19 coaches on the peak event day

• 65% of car fleet were Hybrid powered

• 100% of the coach fleet were Euro V or VI emission (low emission) rated 

Key to the success of the event is the utilisation of the NLT online transport management system to provide a comprehensive secure transport booking system including:

• Ability to book individual and whole-of-delegation services in all locations throughout Australia

• Utilising the NLT transport management system, GPS tracking of individual delegations with direct feeds to Operational & Security divisions. These data feeds include live ETA reporting for security & situational awareness.

• Full audit trail capabilities including booking confirmations, pricing and reporting split between delegations for assignment to lead-agencies in post-event reconciliations

• Passengers receive SMS confirmation including live GPS/ETA information for every movement

• Driver, operator and vehicle details are visible for client & passenger to provide full transparency of services
