CORPORATE TRANSPORT SERVICES
Transport and Facilitation Services – International Engagement Services
Contract Overview:
NLT is contracted via a National Deed of Standing Offer to deliver ground transport operations in support of International Visitation Programs for key Clients throughout Australia. The primary function of these services is the provision of transport services & facilitation staff, vehicle & driver services and airport facilitation services in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne & Brisbane to support the arrivals & departure program for visiting International Guests, International Delegations and VIP Guests.
NLT is required to operate on a 24/7 basis throughout all capital cities with the majority of movements occurring out of hours. Key to these services is our established relationships with airport authorities & security personnel to ensure arriving & departing passengers have access to VIP collection areas (often requiring secure access) and these relationships continue to enhance our professional service delivery with 30% of trips in 2025 received on short notice, enabling prompt clearing of secure areas to facilitate vehicle positioning & facilitation.
In this role, NLT provides an international delegation’s first impression of Australia and the Client and as such professionalism and presentation is paramount. This contract includes the provision of dedicated fleets & drivers, support staff, reservations personnel, a dedicated account manager to liaise with Client and host-country representatives and significant compliance and milestone reporting. The majority of these services are managed via an on-ground support officer, drawn from a pool of experienced and security-cleared staff with the support officer receiving on-going vehicle & driver position/live ETA/GPS detail and booking confirmations, pricing and reporting detail
In addition to the management of ground transport operations, the scheduling of these movements requires transport management systems and experienced personnel who were able to adapt to a constantly changing environment, factor in delays to schedules caused by external factors including traffic and environmental conditions; whilst delivering a highly resilient and integrated transport network.
The establishment of a partnership approach based upon flexibility and transparency with a strong desire to innovate and implement best-practice is instrumental in the continued success of these facilitation & transfer services. An understanding of the complexities associated with multi-city, multi-agency transport operations was a significant advantage in establishing key deliverables, maintaining highly effective working relationships across the project and implementing regular communication strategies designed to highlight risk and ensure maximum levels of accountability in service delivery were also critical.
